Big Bottles - large bottles
Large bottles, from 1.5l magnum, contain a much lower proportion of air in relation to the amount of wine. This means that the connection between the surface of the wine and the oxygen present in the bottle is less. For this reason, the wine matures more slowly and evenly in larger bottles and thus has much greater potential. Another aspect is: Larger wine bottles, such as the magnum, are characterized by their thicker glass volume. This means that light and temperature influences have less of an effect on the liquid in the bottle.
